Hotpoint microwave f3 error
This error code signals a control board issue. It can have serious consequences: a microwave that starts cooking by itself is likely to cause fire. Here are the step, which you should take to solve the problem.
- To remove the top grate, remove the two screws. Open the door and take it off very carefully.
- To remove the control panel, remove the screw holding it and press it upwards at the bottom. It will come off easily.
- Check all control board elements for corrosion: it may make unwanted contacts and short your buttons. Clean all parts, which seem rust or stained.
- Put it back together and plug it in.
