If your Sharp microwave is displaying an error code, this means you have a clue to resolve the problem. Find the code in the tables below to learn what you can do. In case of a significant issue, the manufacturer recommends that you call for service or call an electrician.

888, 8888 or PFIt is possible to see this display upon initial installation or after power was restored due to a power failure. This display can be cancelled and normal operation resumed by touching the CLEAR pad. The clock can be reset on models so equipped.
